Your Wimbledon Park Team - Jil Hall, Samantha MacArthur and Tony Reiss

Jil Hall

Jil Hall has lived in Wimbledon for nearly 30 years and is well known in her community. She helped to get a Heritage Lottery Fund grant to refurbish South Park Gardens. She is a regular volunteer with the Friends group and continues to help fundraise as well as managing a community space within the Gardens.

Her career was in marketing/PR before being a community engagement officer with Merton Council. She is now a director of a local community enterprise which helps train young people with barriers to employment (including physical/mental disabilities).

Jil wants to help Merton achieve the highest standards in services to its council tax-payers as well as being efficient and providing good value for money.
