Protect the Freedom Pass

Labour dominated London Councils' review must protect the Freedom Pass

The Freedom Pass is a scheme that provides free travel on London's trains, tubes, trams and buses and is available to Londoners over the age of 66 or those with eligible disabilities. The scheme is run by London Councils but is funded by all the 32 boroughs and the City of London Corporation.

Merton Liberal Democrats support the Freedom Pass and commit to protecting it.

It is a vital lifeline to millions of older Londoners and those with disabilities, and are calling for the Government and other parties across London to support the scheme.
