Have your say on Wimbledon’s skyline

249 of 250 signatures

Merton Council’s plan for Wimbledon town centre currently allows buildings of up to 12 storeys (three storeys taller than the highest building now). It also has loophole allowing developers to go even higher than this. Sign our petition today calling on the Council to remove the loophole and to limit development to 10 storeys, to ensure residents will still have a say on Wimbledon’s skyline.

We, the undersigned, call on Merton Council to remove paragraph 5.3.60 and delete the last two rows of the Table headed "indicative heights" from the Future Wimbledon Supplementary Planning Document.

Background on the campaign is available hereFor more details, see also the Future Wimbledon Supplementary Planning Document.
