Merton residents will get a chance to influence Government policy on March 1st, at the second meeting of Talking Politics, a new regular policy forum hosted by Merton Lib Dems.

The topic for discussion that evening will be "What should the Government do next?".

Residents and members will be able to propose and discuss policies that should be adopted by the Liberal Democrats for the second half of this Parliament.  The evening's discussion is intended to assist in drafting the local party's submission to the Liberal Democrats in government's mid-term review and will be chaired by Mark Pack, co-editor of Liberal Democrat Voice.

The evening will be held in the function room of the Morden Brook pub, Lower Morden Lane, SM4 4SS [Google maps].
