The BBC's projected national vote share for the local elections is Conservatives 38% (-6%), Liberal Democrats 28% (+3%), Labour 23% (-1%). The Liberal Democrats are the only of the three to increase their projected share from last year's local elections.

At the European Elections we held our own nationally, with 11 MEPs (+1). Jonathan Fryer narrowly missed out on becoming the second Lib Dem MEP for London. The results in Merton can be found here. We were pleased to hold our third place, pushing the Greens and UKIP into fourth and fifth place respectively.
