LOCAL ELECTIONS 2006 Hard-working Lib Dem candidates in Mitcham & Morden polled on average 402 votes each. This compares with an average figure of 305 in 2002. In Graveney ward, Ben Fletcher gained 534 votes, the equivalent of a 20% share of the vote, putting him only 56 votes behind the Conservatives who were in second place.
